Seminar entitled (LTE Based Mobile Systems)

On Thursday, 5/12/2013 Dr.Muayad Sadik Croock (dean deputy for scientific affairs) presented a seminar under the title of “LTE Based Mobile Systems” this seminar has concentrated on:
Recently, the LTE (Long Term Evolution) based communication systems have been considered in the Modern Mobile Networks. This has been employed to improve the bit rate of the transmitted information, in which a huge data can be transmitted in short time.
The LTE based systems adopt OFDMA (Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiple Access) for downlink between base station and users. Additionally, this systems use SC-FDMA (Single-carrier FDMA) in uplink between users and base station in order to reduce the consumed power in the cost of bit rate reduction. Then all the details of the above systems were discussed.
The seminar has been attended by the department stuff members as well as the postgraduate students.
